The Department of Microbiology is in the process of revising the syllabus of M.Sc. Microbiology program under Choice Based Credit System. The draft of the revised syllabus has been prepared after taking into consideration the feedback obtained from multiple stakeholders including the present students, the alumni, as well as prospective employers from the corporate sector. The Department invites your views and suggestions on the same which may be submitted only by email at microsdc@south.du.ac.in latest by 5 PM on Friday, the 4th of May 2018. The draft of syllabus may be downloaded here.

Microzest 2019

MICROZEST 2019- The Annual Microbiology Fest

AparajitaTo commemorate the 124th anniversary of the great scientist Louis Pasteur, the Department of Microbiology celebrated the 2nd Annual Department Fest, MicroZest 2019 on 26th of September, 2019. The M.Sc. Final students, with the help and support of the faculty and students, were able to successfully organize yet another Departmental event. The day saw an enthusiastic participation of all students in various events, like Streak Art, Pictionary, Microbola (a microbial Tambola), Quiz and Rangoli. The competitions were judged by our eminent Professors, and cash prizes were awarded to the winners. The day was concluded with a photography session, and Lunch. It was a day balancing the gain of new information from the Quiz, with the fun and creativity in making scientific Rangolis. In totality, it truly was a day to remember.
