Tentative seat distribution for academic year 2022-23 for admissions to be held in coming months
Entrance based (Total= 7): Gen 3, OBC 2, SC 1, EWS 1
Merit based (Total= 8): Gen 4, OBC 2, SC 1, ST 1
Note: The exact number of seats in each category may vary as per University guidelines and Government rules applicable at time of admission. The supernumerary admissions will be over and above these seats.
Important information for OBC applicants:
The OBC applicants who belong to the ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ and whose caste appears in the Central List of the OBCs only, shall be eligible to be considered for admission under the OBC category (Validity period of OBC certificate in respect of ‘creamy layer’ status of the applicants as per DOPT Office Memorandum No. 36036/2/2013-Estt.(Res-I) dated 31 March 2016). The validity of the non-creamy layer certificate shall be for the financial year 2021-2022, issued after 31st March, 2022. If the applicants do not have the OBC non-creamy layer certificate of the financial year 2021-22 at the time of online application, the applicant may upload old OBC non-creamy layer certificate/acknowledgement slip of OBC non-creamy layer certificate application. However, at the time of admission, the applicant will have to produce the OBC non-creamy layer certificate of the financial year 2021-22 issued after 31-Mar-2022.
Fees for the course:
The fees payable for each semester for current academic year will be informed at time of admission. For previous academic year, the fees payable at time of admission for first semester was Rs.2506.
