1. M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years /BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.

2. Candidates enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category.

3. B.Sc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates; 50% marks for SC/ST, Persons with disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply.

2.       

ICMR- JRF

1. MSc/MA or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC candidates and 50% for the SC/ST & Physically Handicapped (PH) and Visually Handicapped (VH) candidates in the subjects

2. Age Limit: The upper age limit for admission to the eligibility test is 28 years as on 30-09-2018 (relaxable up to five years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/ VH/female candidates and three years in the case of OBC

DST-INSPIRE

1. 1st Rank Holders at University Level Examination (not at Autonomous College Level Examination) of overall full time post-graduate program in science, engineering /technology / agriculture / pharmacy / other applied science streams and undergraduate in Medicine i.e. MBBS.

2. INSPIRE Scholar having secured minimum 65% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA at M.Sc. or Integrated MS/ M.Sc. course.

National Fellowship for Scheduled Caste Students (UGC)

1. The candidate should belong to SC/ST and should have passed the Passed the Post Graduate Examination.

2. The Candidate must be registered for M.Phil./Ph.D.

3. Transgender candidates are eligible to apply under the scheme.

5.       

National Fellowship for Higher Education of ST Students (UGC)

1. The candidate belonging to ST should have passed the Post-Graduation examination for being eligible for the Fellowship.

2. The candidate must be registered for regular and full time M.Phil./Ph.D courses in University /Institute / Colleges recognized by UGC under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act/ICAR by fulfilling conditions of admission of that University/ Institute/Colleges.

6.       

National Fellowship for Persons with Disabilities (UGC)

1. Any student with disabilities who has been admitted to M.Phil./Ph.D. degree in a University or academic institution is eligible for the award of Fellowship, subject to provision of the scheme as per the advertisement of UGC. 

2. Only those doing regular and full time M.Phil./Ph.D. course of a University/Research Institution shall be eligible for the fellowship.

3. Only those doing regular and full time M.Phil./ Ph.D. course of a University/ Research Institution shall be eligible for the fellowship. Employees of any University/ College/ Educational Institution/ Central/ State/ UT Government shall be excluded from availing Fellowship, even if they are on Study Leave or EOL to pursue the M.Phil./Ph.D. course.

7.       

Maulana Azad National Fellowship For Minority Students

(UGC)

1. Candidate should belong to one of the minority communities – Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi & Jain notified under Section 2 (c) of the National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992.

2. Candidate should be registered for regular and full time M.Phil/Ph.D courses in University/Academic Institution by fulfilling conditions of admission of that University/ Institution.

3. The annual income of the beneficiary/parents or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh from all sources.

4. The candidate should have secured a minimum score of 50% at Post Graduate level.

8.       

National Fellowship for OBC Candidate

(UGC)

1. The candidate should belong to OBC and should have passed the Post Graduate examination and annual income of the beneficiary/ parents or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs. 6.00 lakh per annum from all sources.

2. The candidate who is already registered for M.Phil./Ph.D. will be eligible for the consideration for award of fellowship.

9.       

ARSB-NET (ICAR)

Note: Not a fellowship

1. A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline and specialization from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Awarded to top two students in order of merit.

 

 

3.       

South Campus Endowment Scholarships

 

The scholarship is awarded to the students enrolled in South Campus

Category A: The Department sends the names of three students on the basis of merit to committee for the consideration.
Category B: The names of top ranking students who have secured 60% or more marks in the Part I examination of the course are considered for the scholarship.
Category C: These scholarships are on merit cum means basis. For this, students are advised to contact the General Branch of South Campus

 

University of Delhi

 

4.       

Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child (UGC)

1. Girl students without having any brother or the girl student who are twin daughters/ fraternal daughter may apply for scholarship under the aforesaid scheme.

2. In a family if one son and one daughter is available then girl child will not be considered for scholarship under the scheme. 

3. Girl students up to the age of 30 years at the time of admission in PG courses are eligible. 

4. The scheme is applicable to such single girl child who has taken admission in regular, fulltime first year Masters Degree course in any designated university or a post graduate college. This scholarship is available to PG-I year student only. .
